Contrary to reports it was NOT a director of ATC. There will be no change in any of the directors interests due this transaction.

My best information says that it is a shareholder who has an external financial requirement to cover, utilised 6 mill out of his total holdings to do it. My understanding is that ATC was not the only shares he sold out of his portfolio to rectify his problem but with the depth/volume in ATC being what it is the trade stood out like the proverbial, unlike the others.

On the bright side, it went to a good home via an insto in Singapore (UOB apparently), an investor who is in for the long term, and has a very good understanding of the companies operations.
