Can I ask you- why do they classify a gain in the value of biological assets as a profit? Surely there must be some discretion in not classifying this as a profit in advance- having to pay 30% tax on profits not being made yet? I just don't understand why any business would operate this way and that is why I have never bought these shares, although the concept of the business model if it works is something I like.
