In the GAL webinar presentation, Brad Underwood said (re Callisto) that there is no connection whatsoever between the laterite cobalt nickel intersections near the surface and the sulphide intersections at depth. However, the magnetics give a good guide as to the potential strike length of the deeper mineralisation. The contact zones between the mafic and ultramafic units are also likely target zones for higher grade mineralisation at depth in the fresh rock.
