yeah, but unless it’s facilitated by a broker somehow you’re gonna lose any capital gains discount for holding long term and pay brokerage.
not saying it’s a bad idea overall to step out if you think the price will take a major hit, just that there isn’t a clear way for retail punters to short an illiquid micro cap
im not sure perma downrampers of these stocks are motivated by short positions
