Does anyone even know what this reference point means? I've read maybe 15 articles now and all of them quote it, but none of them mentioned what the actual implications of it are?
My own guess is they are going to assume the lithium is being sold at $53 a kilo regardless of the actual sale price and apply a tax or levy to the 'assumed sale value', but like I said, that's just a guess. Would like to get clarification on it if anyone knows.
