I’d say by what I’ve seen from some of these Gigafactory’s coming online and this may include Elon, their idea appears to be –

Lithium is just some sort of sand that can be washed and shoveled on a truck and shipped on a boat.

If the price of lithium goes down, one just parks the truck and front-end loader in a shed.

If the price of lithium goes up, just pull the front-end loader and truck out of the shed and start again.

With a number of Gigafactory’s coming online, (approximately x 140)

Ha, ha, aren’t these guys in for a rude shock!!

Once these guys wake up, the lithium price may change rather quickly, (UP!)
