Thanks for your optimism. Chinese blood also flowing through Stern Hu, but that doesn't seem to help him. Note Mr Hu was born in China. Mr Tan, (by his surname) is a Chinese but probably born in Malaysia or Singapore.

In short, it is not being Chinese or not that makes the difference. It is between a Free Economic Capitalist System (US, Aus) and a Controlled (Dictatorial) Capitalist System (China).

So what are our Aussie companies, like GXY, doing to mitigate the risk of China kicking them out and confiscating their assets or personnel. Given recent events, this scenario is not an extreme probability anymore.

I just want to know whether our Aussies companies are prepared for doing biz in China. If they don't have a contigency plan, I won't like to invest in them, especially if they are not big companies.
