A quick scroll across a candlestick chart will tell you that that's not what's been happening (a mix of opening up, opening down and opening at parity), plus I've gone back through my trading diary and looked at all the GXY opens/closes and there doesn't seem to be any such pattern. I can pull up the stats if you really want to see, but it'll take a while to generate.
