You're welcome Kablooey.
We'd be glad to have you on board.
I agree with Deano's comment today. Of all the Little Lits in ASX land, Galaxy is the one with a bit of an insurance policy behind it.
We can't have 20:20 foresight but the down rampers who declare that we are going to crash are out of their depth.
This is a much more solidly managed and established company than it is currently given credit for.
There are contracts and assets and experienced management here who've been living and breathing lithium for 10 years.
As horrible as the daily swings may be at the moment, the actual likelihood of Galaxy going under again is now very low - and that is simply because this company has been around for a lot longer, has made its contacts and put together its assets and planned its strategies. Anthony Tse now lives in Hong Kong. Once we're out of the woods and shipping I think we'll start having a few more reasons to be singing his praises. Joe Lowry has already said recently that Tianqi overpaid us for Jiangsu - and that was a negotiation made by Mr Tse. good going.
With many of the new Li-By-Nighters - they're more into the running and gunning management thing - making it up entirely on the fly. Sort of like the reason why the ACDC guitarist kept moving.... so he wouldn't get hit with bottles.
They need to stay one step ahead of the rent-man, risking continually rising dilution, all the while without mines and chances of making an honest buck for at least a couple of years.
Galaxy already has multiple assets and a mine and clients at a very early point in this lithium game.
No doubt they'll pick up a few other assets, but it's a good 3 course meal that they already are preparing in the kitchen.
I am lazily amassing a good position here. At some point I'm going to chill out but while the shares are cheap it still represents the kind of value I'm looking from a stock - good likelihood of doubling in value each year from this point. imho. If not a bit better than that in the next 12. Very low chance of crash-and-burn. In fact, once a few more of the juniors go to the wall - Galaxy will get a bit more credit for being the logical pure play.
Read a little of Joe Lowry and Chris Berry.
They've scoured the globe for good lithium companies and they're both sweet on this company.
Relax. Pull up a position and you can go for a stroll for a casual 12 months or so and you will have some nice gains.
At some point the L and P-Plate Lithium stocks will need to prove themselves by hitting the highway in whatever jalopy they've managed to bash together. Just sniffing lithium on your tenement won't cut it for long.
Expect a fair bit of wreckage on the side of the Li-highway. We may even be able to pick up a few spare parts.
Don't be quite so quick to judge Sal de Vida. It needs a bit of research. SA brine is making a fortune for the big players.
It will be Galaxy's flagship project and the one that will end up leaving the Hu-uge Hard Rock Only players with a severe case of I-Wish-We'd-Thought-Of-That in the years to come as the low cost base and capacity expansion advantages tilt the lithium world back to brine based supply again.
Politically and financially things in Argentina have changed dramatically for the better in the last couple of years. Also, Argentina is made up of several local govt regions, all with slightly differing regional policies. I think you'll find that one of the advantages Sal de Vida has over Orocobre is that the local government policies are not as obstructionist as they are in ju-juy. FMC has been puttering along nearby, a bit slow to invest in their growth and yet still declaring that they are going to expand somehow - perhaps waiting for us to rock up ("brine up?") with our better resource to do some sort of deal with.
Even if it's just tolling our brine through their hydroxide plant in Salta then there are still a number of advantages to our location and proximity.
For the moment though - its all about Mt Cattlin, as you very correctly say.
Good old Mt Gattling Gun. Hope its getting oiled up good and proper for a good long run.
Good luck to all of us.
