The Mitsubishi take-off agreement seems to be a bit of a
"Claytons" without any obligation on Mitsubishi to perform.
What's your read?
While there is alot of "Hoo-Haa" about electric car battery usage, I think that large Li electric grid storage batteries are a safer bet because of the daily cycle nature
of solar & wind generation and the consequent need for short term storage.
The Japanese nuclear debarkle has set back the popularity of nuclear energy and countries such as Germany have long term plans to decommission existing plants.
Western electric cars at this stage look like that they will be over twice the cost of an equivalent petrol model
and with Western economies strapped for cash, they are unlikely to subsitise electric car sales sufficiently
to result in any significant sales volume.
What's your opinion on global supply & demand for Li?
