I'm assuming a build cost of $360m AUD - so $108m is what my calculator spits out.
In reality I think the build cost will be lower as there are multiple things that have improved in Argentina. Not only the peso tanking, but also labour costs, duties and taxes on importation of equipment and just generally expediting and speeding up the bureaucracy. They've turned very pro-lithium over the last year.
SDV is an excellent brine asset.
Chemistry is perfect - it comes out of the ground at a percentage of lithium that is already 0.75% lithium - making it very close to the 1-2% grade already that is sent on to the plant after sitting for 9-12months. You could just about pump this stuff straight into the concentrator.
The weather is dryer than the other salars and its well connected to transport road, rail and shipping. SDV is 'easy brine' and thats why Joe Lowry is so keen on us as a member of the Big 6.
