I personally don't see what the fuss is all about with shorts, they're parasites just as much as the so called "investors" who buy then sell out instantly after making a quick buck. Then hit the boards to tell everyone how awesome they are.

You'll find the latter (luckdogs of this world) are the ones jumping up and down the most when it comes to shorting when their side of the bet is losing.
They'll make comments and start threads ad nauseum demanding management do something etc. to assist their"bet", attempt to educate everyone how unethical shorting is, yet they're effectively doing the exact same thing.

Can't have your cake and eat it too. You want to play with the big boys, then harden up a bit.
Alternatively if you're on a different clock and are genuinely in for the long term, sit back, relax, and watch the vultures cannibalise themselves.

My comments were from a productivity and business development standpoint. That is, contrary to MS’s comment, of course POSCO and GXY can work together to reduce costs and benefit from synergies during construction, ramp-up, and production phases, even if their “timing of development” is slightly different.
