Gallen let himself down for his playing style which as I said before could have been more selfless. Would be interesting to compare stats as I suspect Gallens metres would be good but his offloads and try assists would be quite poor.
On a different subject I see Valandy's is telling players to stop boxing in their end of season....ha ha...good luck with that one!
I can see his point though with trying to minimise head knocks and the natives go and allow themselves to be bashed in the ring for $.

All those bloke were bigger and very good as well as some of the old times such as Norm Provan, John Sattler, Kevin Ryan, Arthur Beetson, Bradley Clyde and many many more, but I still think POUND for POUND Gallen was one of, if not THE best.
