1. DW does need more time to prepare the presentation because there is more developments to include - possibly a drilling schedule or an agreement from the JV on potential reserve estimates.

OR.... most likely IMO:

2. DW is aiming for a sustained increase in SP by throwing a majority of ST Traders off the scent. Traders entering & then taking profits results in a SP drop-off when good news comes through in a timely, predictable fashion. A presentation is a presentation and is not something which must be released to the market immediately.

We already are aware from several posters here that DW is a boy scout when it comes to looking after his 'mum & dad' shareholders.
