@kkw Big oilfields are more desirable than small oilfields.
COP26 is a majorly flawed climate based policy IMO.
Needs balance and improvement.
I think the oil price can only go up based on the latest climate policy agreements.
Oil is as important as ever. We are not in an electric vehicle age yet for the mass market.
Oil will be used even when electric vehicles are mass market in 10-20 years.
You can't insulate electric cables with Lithium!
Don't get me wrong. I support renewables and have solar on the roof.
But I'd like to see someone drive across the Simpson Desert in an affordable fully electric vehicle.
They are not there. Not even close. Don't have the range. Infrastructure is not there with the capacity.
Oil may go upto USD$100+/bbl in the near future.
That is how important OIl really is! ....
ie. The US oil reserve is of National Security....for a reason.
If FAR strike oil now. It could be much more valuable than USd$4-8/bbl OIP.
