There will be plenty of speculation in the lead up to the Samo-1 well drill. Here's what we know:
- It will be drilled in late 2018 with two target intervals
- Samo lies in A2 and is on trend with SNE
- Samo has been independently assessed as having a 55% chance of success in one or both target intervals
- Samos best estimate is 825 million barrells of oil
- After the farm in, FAR own 40% of A2&A5
In the attached pdf is some further information on the Gambia River Basin, which has been speculated as possibly being the golden goose laying the big black eggs in A2 and Sangomar Deep.
