Clubs in NSW and Victoria for that matter are just disgusting relics of antiquity. Australia should join the modern world and outlaw the miserable places. Tax them out of existence.

These clubs are real hives of scum, basically dealing with social depravity by pushing pokies at them. I remember them well, $5 steaks, multiple beers on “tap”, liquor licensing conditions everywhere, bowling greens with no one lawn bowling just drinking, the obligatory Chinese restaurant with Gwailou and Guipo tasting unauthentic Chinese food.

They should be closed down as relics of a bygone era. most of their inhabitants have probably either died or in aged care homes. the only thing the younger ones are doing are playing the pokies and losing as the house wins.

The ALP, if it had any self respect, would close them down also. the Greens show how hypocritical they are by not suggesting windfall profit taxes on pokies, Clubs are just disgusting places.
