sponoolies84 , I think there are many reasons for a delay , not least of which would be to allow time to raise capital in the junior JVPs whilst the 'sizzle' of oil flow is in play. Raising after testing is highly risky , as if SD is deemed non commercial any raising would have to be at very low prices vs now (perhaps) they could get cash in at 5c (adx/xst) , .005 (vil).
Could be wrong but seen it many times before and all the junior jvps are on the bones of their arts so they are effectively in survival mode ...
