With an Aussie dollar gold price of almost $1,500 an ounce, RRL is enjoying a profit buffer of several hundred dollars a tonne. As long as they can keep their costs down, the margins in Australian dollar terms for gold are still very attractive. IMO, the gold industry in Australia is sitting very nicely, particularly for current producers like RRL.
