I think it's quite safe to say Australia will not legalise Medicinal Marijuana on Monday 10th. Just because the bill is being presented, by representatives from a minor party, does not mean much. It will be a long process, with much debate, stringent terms and hopefully a better roll-out than in the USA. The SP will probably do well with the publicity, but if this was seriously expected to pass as LAW on Monday - it would be all over the news. With the current political climate, it's unlikely.
But with the press of the last few weeks... The right will be fishing for popularity.
