I think the only incompetence MJ has demonstrated is the lack of profitability in rural services (several people need a kick in the pants in that division). The $550M of capital raising in 2009 that is now worth $100M? The slow, staggered writeoff of asset values? Convincing the consortium of lenders to roll loans?
Very competent ... if you're an ELDPA holder! If you're a FPO holder, you should know that if it weren't for him, your equity would no longer exist.
