Blao, would be very surprised if any offer was put to mcr board.
Just small fry to the likes of wsa and igo and the like.
Takeover talk often comes up on this forum when a companies sp drops like mcr's has, and 99% of the time, nothing happens.
As for manipulation and playing around with this stock to keep the sp down,I think you are dreaming and just looking for reasons why the sp is where it is.
Suggest you look at the price of ni lately and general market sentiment to base metal miners.
They have spent a lot of money on buyback so far and as expected.hasn't affected the sp.
Perhaps it's now time to stop and conserve some cash for some decent exploration drilling on their other tenements.
