I dont understand why everyone is so surprised at the duster. According to their earlier announcement It had a 32% chance of success which means it was more likely than not to fail. Petrobras will have known that too so it will be interesting to see what their involvement (if any) will be in the coming months.

High reward does not come without high risk. Those who dont understand that should put their money into QRE or directly into BHP etc.
