Seems our troll friends stopped reading the announcement half way through the bit that mentioned the ICSID’s inability to enforce INTERIM ORDERS (Lenny, note the correct use of caps lock on to denote shouting).
Not quite the announcement we were hoping for, but a significant step nonetheless towards AVZ success in one of 2 ways -
* The DRC must surely see that thumbing their nose at the ICSID in ignoring its interim orders is going to add a tin of cherries on top of the award when it comes to enforcement of FINAL ORDERS (a while to wait if it runs the whole trip ), or
* Preferably, the DRC come to the realisation that this Chinese-inspired looting fiasco has gotten way way bigger than just another simple case of the DRC double-dipping on the sale of a mining lease, & they come back to the table disposed towards a negotiated settlement wit AVZ so that someone can get this lithium dug out of the ground.
Interesting to see Morningsuits/Dudbrook walking back MMGA’s derailment of the MOU late last year. Looks like knees are knocking now the international courts are joining the dots.
