Attempted launch of the Norwidian rocket

Holla, Brentv, Disco, Discerning, Ozgem,Wildman, bigfatbudgie ,the rooster formally known as Andy, Fitza, Wildman, Fitza, Baracuda, Vanzant, Jojo and a sir noozelot huddled in the small NOR rocket destined for bigger and better things all confidence after a 40% surge the previous friday.
Not all were convinced. Webbj was happy to sit out the sidelines, pointing out that whilst it was rocket with some potential may other rockets had also launched people into space and he just could not see the value proposition of the said rocket. Webbj was always people feared the most at the secret santa office xmas party. Always such a hard guy to buy for.
Billy who had seen more rocket crashes than most was also happy to sit this one out. He never quite forgave his first Russian mistress for stealing his dog and sending it into space with very unfortunate outcomes and Billy was also happy to point out the the NOR rocket did enough fuel to make the journey. Growing concern also mounted that all Holla’s NOR shares may not fit on the rocket and it could get very top heavy.
None the less the fuse was light. It promised so much but just fizzled out. Turns out launching a rocket in the biggest storm the east coast had seen in 20 years was not good timing it looks like only the long hoped for revenue fuel injectors will be what it takes to get this rocket moving.
So we wait…….. Each Norwidian does what the can to keep occupied.
Holla does his home renovations. Bit of a disaster the first time around when he ordered a truck full of bots instead of bats. They are in his computer now and affecting his hot copper posts. 2nd time lucky and the bag of itchy crap arrives. Old unlucky was more than willing to give him a hand until his retirement fund starts to look a little brighter.
Sir Noozalot likes to post threads on HC to keep PO motivated. Got to take some threats seriously when the Germans give you month to get it all together or they are pulling out. I know PO reads them daily it will really help get to norwood back on track.
Billy gets watch his new mystery friend make untold amounts of wealth from NOR whilst his own day trades don’t really work out for him. Mrs Billy took his balls long ago in exchange for letting him buy some bad shares and now she won’t give them back.
Meanwhile at NOR HQ progress was being made on their award winning suit of (wouldn’t it be great if ) apps. Their key android developer Kevin was now working at a much faster pass now that management had agreed to let him work his natural IT hours of midnight to dawn and by supplying him with a constant supply of women's underwear had made great efficiency inroads and also helped steer better relationships with their local community. A new android version of WP is expected over the next few days.
PO full of confidence after his 2nd prize at the local science fair was ready to take on the world at the Singapore IT convention. As always with NOR they had to improvise a little bit in light of the hold ups. They had built a display of their global federated network with pipe cleaners and empty toilet roles but sadly with the budget cuts at NOR there was not enough toilet roles to finish the job and reluctantly had to pull out of manning a stall this time around.
Fear was also growing among even the die hard Norweidian that Paul’s engagement announcement to the south east Asian beauty might have been a ploy to get Holla’s mum off his back about kids these days not being able to form committed relationships. We are all begging PO to overlook the differences and just get it on. Shane was also begging PO to seal the deal after having to make constant reply to emails from Gyro asking for intimate details.
Captain COCO is still on the scene but has taken himself to small island far far away on distant galaxy for some spiritual growth and enlightenment. We hope he does not have too much magic mushrooms with all the rains up here at the moment. The ending scene is COCO being passed a NOR share register again.
