Also,  SMLOLA and the other 9 landowner associations recently signed a joint Petition against Caballus, so it seems there is still some interaction and trust between the landowner's but I feel you are putting the cart before the horse for the following reasons regarding the other associations.
a) the other LO Associations do not own the minerals at Panguna ,
b) they have therefore very different rights-they only own land which may or may not be used in any future development,
c) Whether their land will be needed will be determined once a BFS is completed,
d) because they were relevant to the BCL- RioTinto development does not automatically mean their land would be required in a new development,
e) RTG remains the only project proponent to recommend a collegiate approach for all stakeholders, including BCL. It is BCL who rejects that approach.
