I just like to see the funds buying , because its like a second opinion + these guys get direct access to MD's before making purchases. They are well informed.

The thing with AMX in particular is that it got sold down like there was a "fatal flaw" in the company, which is not the case, merely a misconcrued interperation of the Met-results. Sure there are some less desirable ores there at konks , but as kitto said , they are a statistically insignifcant % or the total ore body and will be easily replaced as new oxide deposits come online (and they will). I think the big funds geo team realise this , and thats why they're buying here. Most of the selling is likely from the retail side (mums and dads)that have been fed ill advice from brokers . Likely a few larger private holders/funds selling some also.

As for a bottom here for AMX ? , looks a very good chance. Up 11% from the recent low of 46c with decent volume behind it (especially thursday and friday). First positive week for amx since march. Now we need a positive month for july and we'll have our uptrend underway. The last positve monthly close was in july 2011.

Lots of catching up to do , but amx are up to the task !! Operationally they are about to hit their stride imo...
