Like many here, I am bullish on the upcoming trial results, FDA application process and commercialisation. As addictively good as it feels to ponder hypothetical sky-high prices over a relatively short time frame, I feel it is unrealistic and perhaps dangerous to inexperienced readers of this forum to throw around enormous share price and T/O estimates.
A loose comparison with Cochlear is appropriate when pondering the comparative highs we might be so fortunate to one day approach. COH has been a true shining light in the Healthcare sector of the ASX for a very long time, and is often held as the "if they can do it, why can't we?" benchmark of the sector. As it stands, they have a market cap slightly over $8B.
As revolutionary as our app is, it'd be reckless to envisage even nearing this market cap without a generous dose of time, development, and very good fortune. If it took a wildly successful stock like COH decades to reach these highs, we'd have to be utter fools to expect similar price action in the near term. Billions of dollars of value do not materialise easily.
I would genuinely love to look back at this post in 12 months time and admit I was way off the mark. However, while we have an extremely exciting series of announcements and developments awaiting us over the next few months, I would recommend avoiding the temptation to pencil us in as a multi multi billion dollar success story, and instead focus on more moderate immediate goals - let's start with getting back over that bloody $0.40 mark as trial results draw near!
