Guys
I believe Goldman Sachs have done a massive report on Amazon and their strategy of dominating the the health care sector.
I don't have the full report but below is an excerpt, - the point is make no mistake how telehealth will transform the landscape and how valuable an approved diagnostic device for respiratory conditions for that transformation. Cripes, just the management of COPD in adults would be a monster, let alone all the other indications.
Good luck rappers
from report...
Imagine seeing a virtual doctor on your AMZN app, having it prescribe you a certain medication, and then tapping a “buy now” button – all without leaving your home. If AMZN were to break into pharmacy, telemedicine could be a next step. AMZN already offers 494 health & fitness skills (apps), ranging from workout coaches to medical advice platforms, including WebMD and KidsMD – the latter of which allows users to seek general health information for common ailments and medication dosing from Boston Children’s Hospital. Though breaking into telemedicine would involve overcoming more regulatory hurdles (e.g. HIPAA, etc.), the payoff could be significant. In effect, AMZN could become a one-stop-shop for all things healthcare – treating patients when they’re sick, getting them their medications, ensuring drug adherence, and more, all the while gathering valuable patient data.
