If the ASX enforce ASX Listing Rules 10.1 & 11.2 then any shareholder approval for a transaction should be subject to a voting exclusion for all parties related to Zijin Mining.

It will be interesting to see whether the ASX intervenes in this matter as this sort of corporate predatory behaviour is in blatant breach of specific Listing Rules that are designed to protect the interests of minority shareholders of all ASX listed companies irrespective of where they are domiciled.
