For your information any offer MMX may've made before the trial would've been "without Prejudice" and wasn't necessarily an acknowledgement of validity of CHM claim.
That kind of settlement offer is quite common and is like throwing bone in front of a dog just cuz you don't wanna be bothered hearing it bark. Expecting a new settlement offer after the trail is nothing but wishful thinking.
