Why aren't our Australian gold miners instead marketing their combined gold production each month direct to buyers such as China and Russia?"



Yeah, I think a marketing push by Aussie producers would make Chinese and Russians happy to pay more for gold than they otherwise would.

Why stop at gold.

Aussies could sell, iron ore, coal, LNG, wool, wheat . . . the list goes on, at higher prices that 'normal'. That would be excellent.

And the Russians and the Chinese will pay.

Maybe submit it to one of the micro-parties in the senate. It needs to be heard.

Hey, and we could even band together and pay less for oil and other imports.
