I don't intend to vote NO only because the offer is pathetically low,

I intend to vote NO, because this thing should go to the courts, and compensation should only apply to the illegal actions of the NSW Govt. If they would then like to discuss buying back PELs because they will not provide police protection for the lawful & approved activities of the company, that's a different matter. The PEL's & discovered resources are worth well north of the $25 million offered.

NSW's reputation is also worth lots more than $25 million. If this is decided by a low ball offer it'll all go quiet because our media are either hoodwinked by the noisy rabble or too lazy to do a bit of homework.

But if it goes to the courts, then it might just raise awareness for every corporation & investor that might not be aware of the significant sovereign risk that NSW poses to their operations within the state and within the laws of the state.

I don't want to go quietly. I want the fair minded portion of our media to pick up this story, do a bit of research and publicise what this Govt has done to a large number of investors, Mum & Dads, voters and an honest company going about its business spending over $100 Million and being offered $25 Million for its efforts. MEL's biggest error was operating in NSW.

The message from our Court Hearing should be;

"If you are a business operating (or intending to operate) in NSW, be very very careful, WE ARE NOT OPEN FOR BUSINESS !!!!"
