Yes the house that my parents' sold in 1984 for $80k is now worth around $1.3m - I am thinking of buying that house once it returns to a price of $80k. The spot price is too low for the industry to survive - need it to triple. Other posters have made this point using different words and explanations. Check elc post explaining long term trends in price and the earlier one from tim - they confirm what I have been saying for the past 2 months - current spot price is unsustainable.
