Why was a preliminary result report announced ?
The promise was to drill, cross check results and to send the results to CCIC for 3d analysis and report back to AEX management before an announcement made to the ASX.

So what happened ?

Perhaps not too far fetched !

AEX required money for drilling, (without resorting to disposal of MTX) and approached Aegis with the final analysis from CCIC. Aegis said "okay looks good, but we want as many shares as possible for a couple of million bucks or so. Hence the poor quality of announcement which had the desired effect of shaking out the traders and allowed Aegis to come into the placement with a lot more shares than if the price went north. Who else bought 100 million plus shares last week as the price collapsed ?

Now that Aegis , Aex managementa and associated manipulators have had their fill, the games are over.
In all probability we have seen the bottom for share prices, and in future to expect glowing reports.
