Seems to me someone had been dumping shares previously, and that source of shares may have dried up. Certainly was pleasing to see the increasing volume, and will be highlighted to any chartists that also rely on weekly data.
If that theory of a seller drying up is the reason then it will be much harder for any opportunistic buyers to load up from now on, even if we are still a few months from the BIG announcement on the APB.
It will be interesting to hear how AEM has performed the past quarter on Monday, seems we already know the state of play with the CVM from the 27th announcement.

One thing I remain confident with, is that the first BIG APB announcement will cause a rush, so anyone left short will be scrambling for shares. Thus we might still be some months away, but when it happens don't be caught short is my view, particularly if a previous seller providing cheap shares has stopped!
