Good example of a punting investor, that would have no doubt used all the charts and methods under the sun is MF Global. Chapter 11.
Bigmac, I have no doubt you are comfortable in charting and good at it. But it is not the strategy I support for me its about the DATA that FNT has collected and the POTENTIAL from drilling which attracts me to the stock.
Also after tax returns, for me anyway, makes short term punting unattractive unless I use Super.
Silly buggers at play already this morning bids in and out just before open.
Respect to the charters you are a brave bunch of people.
