bottom line with all this ALQ talk is that this spike in interest means it needs to be closely watched for trading opportunities. the price action will tell the tale whichever way the stock gets pushed.
is it likely to be pushed higher on further takeover speculation??
or has it been a pump and dump play which will ultimately see the price move back south??
was this recent spike accompanied by genuine buying by those willing to hold the stock and who will likely continue to accumulate and support the share price??
or was this spike used as an event to distribute stock from strong hands to weak hands, from smart people to foolish people??
only the insiders know these answers, but as knowledgeable traders/investors/market participants WE ALL need to continually keep abreast of likely situations and outcomes which can arise.
personally I have my own reservations about what is going on here.
