    Hi Nowhere Man,

Under principles of good corporate governance, yes. Just look at all the front page, institutional, analyst and political coverage that governance is now receiving.

Under the auscpices of a friendly takeover, then in the grander scheme of things, no.

But, the ASX Release is reprepresented as having come from 2 Swiftel directors, one of whom is conflicted due to being a director of, and major shareholder in, the target.

It would have been better for the Release to have used Gale alone, or with another Director, or to have used Gale and marland, but contactable from a People Telecom perspective (or better still, for O'Hare to have fronted the Release).

PLaying it smarter is important. That's the hallmark of a transparent, professional and mature Board that knows what it is doing and doesn't make silly gaffes.

But again, in the ultimate context of things, no, it doesn't matter because the company will soon be theirs.
