Don't assume just beacuse a big accumulator is buying that they "know" every smallest detail about the operation. For all we know they could be sitting in an office in Sydney or Hong Kong, and I very much doubt that they're on site often enough to validate their theories about good or bad they think the operation is running.
It would also hardly be in the interests of a company to be giving these guys regular precise and sensitive information such as "Oh hi Joe, just letting you know that the drive on the 250 level is behind schedule, and the average ore-haulage per shift for the last 72 hours has fallen by 20%". Aint' gonna happen mate. Mining and Money men are very adept at leading the unwary into a morasse of overwhelming and confusing terminology and figures, should they so desire.
