It seems to be a battle between the pure day traders and the technical traders who are battling with the concept of serious fundamentals (and recognising the opportunity to hold for a major rerate) and there are struggles over 0.001 increments. If the stock claws over the 0.04 mark prior to any results announcement, we may see swifter moves upward.
Of course, the more it moves up, the bigger the drop on disappointing news.
