Come on, let’s all calm down. Everyone is entitled to their opinion. The behaviour of the SP this week was always going to happen. Buy on the rumour, sell on the fact.
In my opinion there are 2 things holding PEX at these levels. First is the lack of coverage. If PEX were to do some investor road shows then I have no doubt the SP would be higher than it is now. With no need to raise cash at this point (CBH funding exploration at Mallee Bull) I don’t see the need for PEX to do a roadshow at this point. The other thing is macro-economic conditions. Will Europe implode? Will the US plunge off the fiscal cliff in Jan 13? What effect will this have on metal prices?
Mallee Bull will probably be an underground mine, but there are similar underground mines around Cobar and they were built when metal prices were a fraction of what they are now.
Disclaimer: I have loaded up on PEX between 7 and 10 cents, have not sold one share and will be looking at buying more if it drops again.
