True Tsingshan did create the biggest nickel short. However it was the establishment bankers like GS that pressed and sent the nickel price sky high temporarily.
It would only take someone in the top 20 shareholders moving their shareholding up a few percent.
I am not entirely against shorters as I say they do add liquidity, they almost always have to buy back at some stage.
Plenty of good people making money shorting Tesla at the moment, I think that short has someway to go.
Not easy to short stocks in Australia as a retail investor, anyone know who does offer a short option.
