Royal Tencate (http://www.tencate.com/amer/protective-fabrics/applications/D_T/army.aspx) are the sole supplier of FR Rayon fiber developed for the DOD called Defender M. There are a number of US based suppliers that manufacture the actual FR uniforms (ie Propper - http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Propper) using this Defender M fibre- as well as standard ACU's. This background article (http://www.gao.gov/assets/100/97609.pdf ) is an oldie but a goody in explaining the supply chain and difficulties in having a sole source of rayon fibre supply manufactured out of the USA as well as the implications of the Berry Amendment which was extended in 2011 to January 2015.
