When a share price opens above the closing price of the night...

When a share price opens above the closing price of the night before there is a gap on the chart. With AQD there was a gap between .375 and .38 last week. It is quite amazing how many times the share price will fall to 'close the gap' within a few days after the gap. Chartists usually take note of gaps and a buy order at the bottom of the gap can quite often be filled. It is also called 'closing the window' by OHLC bar (open, high,low,close)chartists.
