A few days ago there was quite a good chart posted that highlighted how most goldies are tracking relative to the sector, albeit at different magnitudes. NCM rallied almost 7% today and yet there was barely a peep from most mid/small cap gold stocks. NCM is the largest component of the gold sector, so I would expect some lagging, beaten up goldies to follow through with NCM's move over the next few days.
SLR is the only one I've seen that has gone to new lows since the key low in the gold price a few weeks ago. Is the big end of town probing for stop losses or is the market just really turned off this stock in particular? With significant reserves in the ground and a strong development strategy, I'm leading towards thinking that its the former rather than the latter.
