I believe $1 prediction will never eventuate unless you're expecting the DOW to hit 6000 points! Gold stocks represented by the XAU/HUI always bottom before the metal and when the proper bull run commences will out perform the metal in the early stages! HUI has dropped 60% in the last 5 weeks and now currently sits within 5% of significant support spanning 2.5 years so I suspect a bottom could possibly form on the PM stocks within day's. Gold on the other hand has fallen 20% in the same period. The sell off over the last two days I believe is the capitulation leading to a bottom and a warning that the gold/silver price has a little further to fall. Silver could be signalling a bullish divergence as it has been very strong the last week or so.
