With you on BHP Lapdog. So difficult to make money on BHP as there are too many shorters blocking a decent sp movement. I remember the past few times when BHP was up 5-6% in overseas markets but barely eked out a measly 2-3% gain on the ASX.
I think the availability of stock to borrow for shorting purposes makes the BHP SP very rigid and so too the bigger blue chip companies. Find smaller and mid-sized companies much better for upward price mobility.
