The USD went north last night...IMHO thats the best thing that could happen to NHC holders...because our contracts were in USD and are LOCKED IN! whereas the entire market fell in ASX today, the major companies with USD denominated contracts should either hold steady or go up.. I can see 3 things that are possibly making the SP go south, 1. general market sentiment (SELL SELL SELL)when US markets fall. 2. People trying to downgrade company for a takeover or buying at lower prices i.e. you gotta realise NHC has its own port which can potentially service other minesites 3. Copenhagan climate change summit will require countries to reduce usage of fossil fuels and commit to green initiatives and that would potentially require less use of thermal coal. This last point will take years to eventuate in my opinion. You cant ask a country like china to rely on 'green' options to service its 1.4 bilion pop.
