Scilliams, I used to believe shorting in earnest was applied to weak stocks...
But looking at the daily figurs, that is far from the case now.
BHP at 50%, ANZ in the 30%.... hardly weak stocks. Shorting is now a position traders taken when they believe a stock will go down, irrespective of its size.
